Addressing the issue of children who
need permanent familes requires a whole solution in order
to successfully insure that each child is placed in a
permanent, loving, and sustainable family. Kinship Center
provides this whole solution for children and the families
they serve by implementing a three step approach to foster
care and adoption.
First, Kinship Center insures that
children are placed with families who are committed to
creating a permanent, loving, and stable home.
Next, Kinship Center insures that
everything possible is done to preserve the family that
has been created. This involves providing special
training for parents who often must support children who
are at risk for developmental and behavioral problems.
Finally, Kinship Center is committed
to the ongoing support of the child and family during
the child's lifetime. This may include solutions to
address special challenges and needs, and includes
educational and special assistance funds.
