Approach
> Preservation
Preservation of the families created
by a Kinship Center placement is the second step on the
road to growing children into happy, loving, and
responsible adults.
No matter how well the placement of a
Kinship Center child goes, every child and family will
face challenges. This may be due in part to the trauma a
child has previously experienced, as well as the normal
challenges of being an effective member of a family unit.
To insure the preservation of the
secure, safe, loving, and stable family environment,
Kinship Center offers specialized training for foster,
adoptive and related parents; child development and mental
health services; and special family services including
identification of issues and intervention.
Kinship Center provides services that
enable the preservation of secure, safe, loving, stable,
and permanent families.
